As part of our drive to greater sustainability, Ergon Energy plans to install solar power systems across our buildings and infrastructure over the next few years.

Our Lake Street building in Cairns already uses solar power to generate enough electricity to provide 50 per cent* of an average regional Queensland home’s power needs.

It is estimated the savings will be about 4.3 tonnes of greenhouse gas emissions per year^#.
