4 Energy Savers Rebates
At Ergon Energy, we’re committed to finding ways to enable you to reduce your household electricity use, save money and help the environment. That’s why we’re trialing a new energy savers program in Mount Isa and the Mackay suburbs of Blacks Beach, Bucasia, Dolphin Heads, Eimeo and Shoal Point.
The energy savers program encourages residents in the trial areas to take up the Queensland Government’s ClimateSmart Home Service.
The Ergon Energy $50 cash-back offer on the Queensland Government’s ClimateSmart Home Service for residents in the trial area has expired. This offer was only available to residents in the energy savers trial areas who booked a ClimateSmart Home Service between 15 August and 15 December 2009 and was completed by 30 January 2010.
Ergon Energy is offering a free Home Efficiency Check for households in the energy savers trial areas. The Home Efficiency Check is available in the trial area between 16 February and 31 August 2010.
This valuable check could identify additional ways to improve your home’s energy efficiency, helping you to enjoy potential energy savings and improve the comfort levels of your home.

You may be eligible for our energy savers rebates which include:
- $1,000 on solar or heat pump hot water systems
- $400 on home insulation
- $150 if you connect your electric hot water system or pool pump to the volume controlled network tariff.
These rebates are offered in addition to the benefits available through other Australian or Queensland Government programs.
To be eligible for the energy savers rebates and incentives, you must have one of these goods and/or services installed or completed between 16 February to 31 August 2010 and submitted your rebate application form by 5pm on 30 September 2010.
